october 19 2024: I commissioned a lovely scrapkit, so had to rebuild, again! I'm keeping to the idea of the "big three", and dressing this site, Euniceprobert.nu and Peroriath.co.uk alike.
august 15 2024: I have a webring! The webring sites we all knew have gone, but there are new ones springing up everywhere!
July 6 2024: All change again. I wanted something more spring/summer like and I rather like lavendar and peonies. Again, I know that no one is actually looking at this site, but it doesn't matter any more. I enjoy doing it, making new graphics, shuffling things around, and that's waht really matters. I am doing this for my own enjoyment. If anyone does happen to visit, then that's a nice bonus.
September 11 2023: I've changed the graphics for the autumn. Again, I didn't plan to, I know no one is actually looking at this site but me. Autumn is my season though, so I had to do something to celebrate it.
June 4 2023: I've changed the graphics for the summer. I wasn't going to, summer not being my favourite season. But I wanted a change. And it's giving me something to do during my recovery period from having a cataract removed. I can't write letters until a month has passed, so my websites are getting my attention. I decided to close serennau.online as I'm reducing the number of domains I own. Now that we have to pay for this stupid SSL thingumybob, I can't afford to buy so many domains. I betcha they didn't think about that, eh? So the online section is back, and I'll be adding something about web 1, which this site is.
September 16 2022: As it's now autumn, I've changed the graphics. I've also removed all of my webrings. I am sad about it, I always loved the silly things. But they don't appear to be relevant any more.
August 8 2022: I changed the colour of the graphics as I didn't like the grey version very much. Life is difficult enough without descending into depressive colours. I've removed the "online" section. It is now at Serennau.Online for reasons. Now closed.
February 11 2022: 2022 is proving to be just as difficult as 2021 was. But I've redone the graphics; no need for the wintery/Xmasy ones now. It's still winter, but thanks to global warming, feels more like early spring. I renewed the domain for another two years. Next month this domain will be 23 years old!
November 25 2021: It's been a difficult year and I didn't touch one of my domains. Perhaps I should write something about the covid pandemic. After all it's been the biggest thing to affect our world in this century. And it's not over yet! I've been writing a lot of penpal letters, and taken up studying. Now I'm tinkering with my websites again. Beginning with the first and the best!
June 2 2020: It's the 21st anniversary of this domain, and I am celebrating it by remaking the whole site! I also plan to include some items that were in the original version, but which I had left out until now. I want to make this the biggest and most interesting of all my domains.
October 6 2019: Doing some autumn-cleaning! I've let some domains lapse, so this site might have some of the content of the original Geocities sites, way back in the mists of time! I'm rather proud that I've kept this site going from the original 1999 birthday present from my sister.
June 23 2018: Changed the graphics yet again. I want to make use of some of the websets I've been frantically making lately. Also doing some much needed summer-cleaning of some of the sections.
June 2 2018: Changed back to the pink set! I've closed down a lot more of my smaller sites and they are being moved here, Peroriaeth, Amryfath, Anywhere-Is, and December 7 2017: I made new graphics for the winter. I'm closing some of my smaller sites, so I'll add a bit of their content here. And share it with Peroriaeth and EuniceProbert.com.
June 29 2017: Moved the site to a new host as the old one is getting out of the reseller business. I'm also cleaning up the webrings. Sadly, one of the ladies who ran so many webrings died earlier this year. I've also updated the links page. With the demise of one of the largest women's online group, The Garden of Friendship, lots of people no longer run personal websites. It's a huge loss to the net.
June 15 2016: Time for some spring/summer cleaning. There wasn't really very much to do, just a few adjustments.
November 29 2015: The whole site is being moved from one webhost to another, so there's some frantic autumn-cleaning going on!
April 3 2015: I've remade the graphics and bought the .uk version of my domain. I wasn't going to, until I found that if I don't, after 2019 someone could get it. And there's only one Serennau! Sometimes, making new graphics for a site, "encourages" me to look at it again and add some more pages.
June 7 2014: I uploaded a section for a group I joined, the Guestbook Butterflies. This domain is now 15 years old!! I must get on and add some more pages. Especially as I've upgraded and given myself more space. This is my very first domain and I'm still very proud of it. I thought about redoing the decor again, but I rather like this style, so I'll stick with it for a while longer.
September 21 2013: I finally decided to change the decor! Well, I'd had the old style for several years and it was about time for a change. But saying that, I've actually gone back to a similar design from the one I had the first time I built this site, (one not hosted by Geocities) back in 2001. I am once again using the painting "Lotus Wood" by Jonathan Earl Bowser.
June 22 2013: I've added a dedication site to a lovely online group I joined, Cherished Friends. There are several pages of gifts. I've started displaying the things I make in the CF "PSP Room". It really is a lovely group and I am so glad that I rejoined! I've also made a dedication site for the NetSisters/NetSisters Forever/Serendipity Place group/s. I miss them still, even though it's been 10 years since they folded.
April 16 2013: Giving the site a tidy up, which is long overdue. Especially as I've just renewed the domain again It's amazing to think that this site is 14 years old. I've taken the "my inner world" section out and tidying up the "online" section. And joining a few more webrings!
February 24 2011: Redoing the graphics again! I joined a wonderful group for making websets and this set is one of the ones I made. (If you want to see the others, go to my PinkRose Portfolio.) I've just renewed the domain for another two years!
December 30 2010: Last update of the year and of the decade! I was going to change the graphics, but I decided to stick with this design. For now at least. I'm just tidying up some pages and doing a bit of winter-cleaning. Sadly, I had to take down my membership badge for the Wings of Love and Light, as the group seems to have vanished. I'm making a new year's resolution to be more active in the groups I am in.
April 30 2010: Doing some spring-cleaning. The fanlistings page of my online section has gone as I have given up fanlistings. This site is now 11 years old!
October 15 2009: Sadly, I left Cherished Friends. I loved the group, but I just found it increasingly difficult to keep up. It's a problem I've found with a lot of groups: they are lovely people, but are rather "full on". I've added a page to the online section and done a bit of autumn cleaning of the site.
April 16 2009: Wow! The updates just keep coming! I've joined two great groups, Cherished Friends and S.U.G.A.R. Their memberships badges, are, where else, on the memberships page. I'll be making pages to display all the gorgeous welcoming gifts I've recieved.
April 12 2009: Yes, far too long between updates. I've gone back again to this style as I do like it. I've added the side menu and rejigged all the pages.
October 21 2008: I've joined the Quilting Bees! My quilt is up and I've traded one patch already. I'd been thinking about applying for a while but I've just decided to actually to do it, and they accepted me! I'm so excited, hence all the exclamation marks! Also, I've added a new section called "Seren's Pixels". It's somewhere to display the pixel graphics I've made from tutorials or outlines. I'm still working on a causes page, so that will come next.
October 13 2008: I've changed the look of the site yet again! I love these tubes with the soft, pastel shades and I'm in the mood for a little sweetness in my website. As ever, I have my domain addiction to contend with, which makes coming up with new ideas for this site an even more difficult task. But, a long time ago in webbing terms, I started a "country" style family website. I think I'd like to do that again. So this site will have things about my family, cooking and baking, the animals in my life and all that kind of thing.
July 21 2008: Looks like I am sticking with this style after all. I've moved my site of the month page to my "my world" section and I've added a page about the good old days of community webhosts. Ah, nostalgia!
February 28 2008: Has it really been this long between updates? I'm rather good at adding to a site, but rubbish at updating the updates! I've decided to try something different this time and use a more "traditional" layout. It's been a long time since I used this style. Chances are, I'll ge sick of it and go back to my usual iframe and css style! But for now, I rather like this style.
June 25 2007: I decided that, as this is a beginning again, to ditch all the other updates. They weren't anything much anyway, just notes of when I changed the layout. Which was often! I'd been indulging in a bit of nostalgia and found my old versions of this site at the Wayback Machine. It made me realise how much I had loved this site and that's what got me to decide to rebuild it. When I first got the domain I had it pointed to a Geocities site as I knew nothing about hosting at the time. Surpasshosting is it's fourth host and seems to be the best. With this green set, and the lady from the Godwin painting, I've gone back to the second incarnation of the site, though with a slightly different layout. Anyway, the update for this time is that the whole site is brand new!
